A total of 86 electric cars will be dotted around 20 train stations in Luxembourg from the end of November as part of CFL's new car-sharing service.

Minister of Infrastructure and Sustainable Development François Bausch, announced the plan in parliament on Thursday.

The service, called Flex, will see 86 electric cars introduced at the 20 most-used train stations in Luxembourg with the aim of offering greater flexibility to passengers.

"People who use public transport can then be sure that they will arrive on time to wherever they want to go," Bausch said.
